Pitch 25, voted Houston’s best sports bar, bets against Chicago’s fabulous favorite Freddies


Who will win! Fabulous Freddies, a South Chicago restaurant located a few blocks from Guaranteed Rate Field and home to the Chicago White Sox and Pitch 25, was recently voted Houston’s best sports bar, located a few blocks from Minute Made Park and home to the Houston Astros. challenged each other for a friendly playoff bet. They bet on food, drink, loot and pride for the bragging rights and the opportunity to win a free Fan Night at the opposing team’s restaurant. The American League Divisional Series begins on October 7 and the series best-of-five winner will take the bet.


Fabulous Freddies and Pitch 25 are betting a party for 25 of their team’s baseball fans at the losing team’s restaurant. If the White Sox are victorious, Pitch 25 will host 25 Houston White Sox fans, and if the Astros win, Fabulous Freddies will throw a party for 25 Chicagoland Astros fans for an upcoming playoff game. The losing team’s restaurant management should wear the winning team’s swag on the night of the event, so that winning fans can partake in some good old-fashioned jubilations while dining on food and drink with the pennies of the losing restaurant.
