Parlor Pizza reopens three Chicago restaurants days after police raids


CHICAGO (CBS) – “We apologize for the inconvenience and will be open again today at 4 p.m. at all three locations!” the restaurant announced it on its Instagram account. “Looking forward to serving you!

Chicago police and other city and state authorities raided the three pizzerias Wednesday morning. Chicago police officers and city building department workers were taking photos inside the Parlor Pizza restaurant at 405 N. Dearborn St. in River North. It has emerged that the famous pizza chain is being investigated for a possible financial crime. Investigators were also at the Wicker Park restaurant location, 1824 W. Division St., and the West Loop location, 108 N. Green St. Officers were seen seated inside the West Loop store with stacks of boxes, CBS 2’s Jackie Kostek reported. Investigators spent several hours inside the three sites on Wednesday.
