This park is located between the museum campus and the Buckingham Fountain, making it ideal for sightseeing on foot or by bike.

Lincoln Park

It’s a fantastic park in Chicago. The park is well maintained and there are plenty of places to picnic or just have lunch. The zoo is also fantastic, and if you ask they will tell you when the different animals are fed. While you’re here, be sure to visit the Verandah and Boardwalk.

The 606

A beautiful trail for walking, running, biking and other activities. It stretches for about 2.7 miles. It’s clean and well organized. They show how many miles you’ve covered in the field, which I appreciate. Hiking here is a great method for burning calories and improving your overall fitness.

Jackson Park

A large park with a variety of sites to explore. The Science and Engineering Museum is located to the south. Come in the spring, especially May, to see the cherry blossoms. If they are blooming, you can check the park district website. The trees are located south of the museum, along the lake.

Garfield Park

Garfield Park is a large, attractive urban park. Picnics with family and friends, as well as recreational activities, are popular in this park. The park includes public playgrounds, sports facilities, walking paths, ponds, an Activity Fieldhouse and a distinctive conservatory. For the general population, I encourage them to stay busy and have fun.

There is a lot to do in this park. Many spaces are available to young and old alike. A huge rock climbing wall, an enclosed skate rink, mini golf, smaller water features for cooling off, and a plethora of playsets are just a few of the attractions. It is also a pleasant place to take a walk. Park Neighborhood employees are there to keep an eye on things and offer help. It is a very pleasant place to visit.
